WORDS OF POWER?

well must say ?that the thought of humans giving power to words sounds good but this lezzie womyn said the other day to us to think about this one,if indeed humans give power to words in order to feel power,how does one give what one does not have? if humans can not feel power how can they give it?she then spoke of illusionary power and gave as an example the power spoken by those who see themselves as the mighty,those who believe that the killing of animals is theirs because of who they think they are,the same ones who believe the killing of any group of any animal,human or not is their because of who they think they are,another womyn said she thought the discussion of the killing of animals was a development of radical lesbians who were as bad as any mad man( O MY GOSH THERE IS THE 3 DIVIDE THE 3M's),because they in her words make every effort to poison the minds of wimmin,and that the very act of spelling the word wimmin instead of women is an example of that effort

A womyn once told me that words in and of themselves had no power and that we human animals find a need to give power to words because we have a desire to feel power,not knowing nor being able to,( in reality) feel power we create the notion that words have power.That is i know words so i feel power,u know tis sorta like when u what? wake up go to sleep,have sex ,eat a good meal, b in excellent Lesbian company, dine in a space designed by for and about Lesbian,one that is VEGETABLE-LESBIAN friendly,with live animals,if animals other than human must be there, and the reality of what we once thought was just a dream, seems to magically appear just before us,for those of us who know what is,we are compelled to pass the info on to those who do not.What are u talking about?the power of words, indeed if words do have power how come we have such a helluva time talking to each other about the 3M's that divide us?We are not and again i say we are not that tender.Indeed if words do have power we give it to them,by what we say or do not say,what we do or do not do,how we act or do not act.We as Lesbians recognize our power when we accept our moments to use the power of words to change ourselves first.So now what does all of that have to do with (LESBIANHOUSEDINING-IN WIMMIN-ONLY SPACE)?Give it some thought.
