although intent and intentions seem to go hand in hand somethings seem to be difficult to put into words and then ideas;i must we must deal with all kinds of intents and the 3M's must be dealt with daily constantly all the time,now intent in relationship to the first M(money),how much will be spent on food and what kind and where?how much will be spent on upkeep of the premises and who will keep it up? how much will be spent on utilities and what utilities? how much will those who eat here spend for the food eaten what will happen with uneaten cooked food?o.k. to begin;often when one choose to create or be a part of creating an environ that is not part of a commonly held view the task of establishing rules/laws/ways of behavior/is certainly not an easy one nevertheless it must be done;now on money;the amount of money spent for foods can not exceed the amount normally spent by who ever is creating the (LHD)space,the reason for this is should no one show up and want to eat the food can still be prepared and eaten by those who live there,is this case the two of us so cost of food can be kept in relationship with bodies,should someone show up to eat then that they leave in terms of payment can be used to procure more food when needed.o.k. lets say someone showed up ate and left two boxes of sea salt,then we go the list of foods needed and check of the need to buy salt,o.k. lets say they left a box of oranges picked from there tree we establish a cost for the fruit in exchange for their meal. now has there been a price set for the cost of prepared food?yes the cost of your food is entirely left up to your decision.now what is the intent here reminder this is a (LHD)space and we must deal with those things that divide us,and money is one of those things

now on intent;consistent with intent there is order,can there be order without intent and can there be intent without order;well at the moment an example alludes me,so i will go with the idea that the both must exist side by side as yang and yin inherent in each other,becoming visible when the need arrives.now this is some of the basic as i see it keeping in mind that a return to these basics is at all times important,so we have the physical building however large or small ,have been donated the utensils needed to prepare foods so now what,well we must then begin again with food,how do we prepare store serve access,where do we start, ok,will the majority of the foods be cooked raw juices salads tapas soups breads sweets strictly home-grown commercially grown from where and from whom and under what conditions.ok some decisions made we will need a stove for some of the food will be cooked well lets start with the idea that we have no stove and funds for buying one are limited to no more than $50.oo o.k. so now whatta we do,run back to the main computing device that has been with us since birth,think, think,think what do the brains come up with,used stoves,different versions of stove or cooking devices i.e. crock pot contained electrical elements pots or pans outdoor pits,outdoor cookers (right off the obvious is obvious)cooking devices need not be a problem, again one can choose from a plethora of stoves limited only by imagination, ok for now lets settle on a two burner hot plate a toaster oven and an out side wood burning ground pit,now how to use them lucky we have electricity so oo leave us start with the hot plate and the toaster oven as our main cookery,we have a refrig so lets look at what foods to buy get from where,well since our intent coupled with order when will we serve our first (LHD) meal and what will it be, now outside of cooking and feeding ourselves what do we think will appeal to other lesbians who chances are are not vegetarians and really have given not a lot of thought about the use of vegetation as food or as clothing,and u know as we lesbians really give thought to thoughts,we do allow ourselves to think about what has come and who has come before us and how did they do what they did,we recognize that we simply may be putting a new spin on an old idea and thats not only about stoves or cooking apparatus now we realize this still all about intent

on intent; now we do believe intent gives directions to every action,example who do we want as an audience,when do we want an audience,how do we want to serve be a part of our audience,where will we look for an audience and from what age group what kind of philosophy or philosophical view would we want to share with or be a part of with our audience,is an economic or sociatal interest in ourselves and our precieved audience important to give thought to and why all of this and much more needs to be thougth out communicated out and acted out,then there is the accessing of foods; how do we get them where do we get them how do we get the very best organics without haveing to be wealthy(dollars_wise) who do we appeal to in our quest for good food and maintain our own lesbian dignity and wisdom ,then of course this brings us to again our own philosophies on who is for us who is against us who are the agents who are the adversaries who are the foes how do we deal with all of them and there particular prides and prejudices and maintain our own sound and healthy beliefs in our selves as dykes lesbian wimmim with a urgent need to affirm confirm and reaffirm lesbian culture through the non-ending process of (LHD) .this does not stop here (INTENT) must be constantly in the fore front of all our thinking as far as (LHD) is concerned,more on this at another time

ok,well much has to be paid attention to when attempting to establish a (LHD) place placement,how will the outside of the place look what will she look like,plants decor furniture,(the outside must have as much attention as the inside) remember first impressions tend to remain for a bit and tend to be hard to replace,that is why the outside and inside must have constant attention in our case we make it our concern to leave the yard as natural in appearance as possible limiting the grass growth by using pacasandra mix into the grass so that grass growth is limited, leaving more boarders of different kinds of shrubbry close to the fence which in our case is a simple chain-link one, this offers us the privacy we want however we purposely spaced the shrubs in a way so that outsiders and our neighbors can see in and see us so that, the psychological impact of our desired privacy does not appear to be making an attempt to keep others out,although it does,the back yard is a wonder of tropical fruit trees which enhances the pleasant feeling of simple delight,in both back and front yard we have placed tables and chairs for gathering together for conversation much political social and economic concerns are addrressed and many problems and solutions are arrived at around these tables where us lesbians seem more at ease in conversations about these subjects in addition to the wonder-filled foods that is eaten,in the back yard there is a fire ring with fire wood for any lesbian to start a fire if she so desires,tenting is also allowed for a very limited time,again the yard grounds are kept very natural,of course work has to be done to keep the grounds looking this way so in that respect the food eaten is many times grown making the personal political and the political personal more on this at another time so u can c that (LHD) really does become more than eating food tis the eating of new thoughts and ideas and the digesting assimilating and bringing them into fruition so that they become visable in reality.now this is only one example of (LHD) grounds u will use what u have effectively and create another (LHD);many subjects have to be talked about,we will talk about who we are how we are what we eat how we eat what we spend how we spend time food money space yes all of this is directed toward intent

now tis very important to decide what kind of foods u will want to access and serve what kinds of drinks desserts,what is your intent around food,are they political,economic personal communicative spiritual etc.,because once your intent is clear to u u then can continue with the how to and when to.i am going to focus on vegetarian vegan and raw or living foods,where this service will take place i am placing the where in this case in a house(your house or mine)could be an apartment,loft,large or small house inside or outside that of course depends on what u have,in my case i have a small wooden house,the dining areas are the rooms i have placed tables,in this case in my dining/living room size 24x12, and a small foyer-type room large enough to hold one table that can seat 3 with comfort 4 jammed up,now depending on what u have this will be larger of smaller u decide.in the 24x12 room is one large table that seats 4 with comfort can be made to seat 6with comfort,2 smaller tables that can seat 2and3 with comfort.now where do get the tables,well one i have because we eat and had a dining table,the others came from throw-outs from others,the same with the chairs.almost always (LHD) furnshings linens dishwares,flatwares,pots pans and other kitchen utensils will come from other lesbians once your intent is made known;the intent of this (LHD) is to affirm conffirm and act out lesbianism fully and openly using food and the enviornment of lesbian sisterhood and camaradre as the tools there is much to be said about the entire concept of (LHD) which is indeed a live-style,a definitive way of life and being.

ok well all is well;life is good u know lesbian house dining is not a new idea nor is the act novel;lesbian house dining has been happening ever since lesbians have existed,where ever and when ever we have had to provide a social political economical financial spiritual familar personal and group services to ourselves,and once we recoqnize the importance of self care,lesbian house dining has been happening,perhaps a more recoqnizable act of this nature is seen in the contiunation of lesbian pot lucks,and this maybe the begining of lesbian house dining.another example of (from here i will use the letters LHD);can be seen in the creation of lesbian house situational gatherings where a date is set and groups of lesbians create indivual food dishes to bring to a party and other lesbians are invited to come to the party,now bear in mind that house dining is not necessarialy (LHD)my intentions are to make (LHD) events more readily made intentional to other lesbians.ok now how is the physical space made available to others and how is the space transformed into comfortable dining experiences,how is the food made available,how is the cost made 3M's free, not only the cost but how is the enviornment made wimmin only accessable,how to create a space that is not subject to hostile neighbors and others,who often view the idea of a wimmin only space as a space to vent there own sociatal disgruntle,these are the subjects i will deal with constantly, realizing that change is the only constant here.
